Betting & gaming

Betting and gaming consultants in Africa

We license, launch and fix betting operations across 17 African markets — with our own researchers on the ground in each of them.

How we operate

Most consultancies are built to stay. We are built to leave.

  1. 01

    We step in

People in your market, not a call about your market.

  2. 02

    We build or fix

Whatever is missing gets built. Whatever is broken gets fixed.

  3. 03

    We install

Systems, suppliers and local people who outlast us.

  4. 04

    We hand over

We watch it run in your hands — then we go.

What we actually do

  • Licensing

Which regulator, which class, what it costs and how long it really takes. Nigeria is licensed state by state since the 2024 Supreme Court ruling; Kenya rewrote its regime in 2025. We work to the rules as they are this quarter.

  • Payment rails

Mobile money is the product in most of these markets, not a payment option. We map the rails, the settlement times and who actually owns the merchant relationship before you commit to a provider.

  • Agent & retail networks

Distribution is people. We recruit, vet and audit agent and cashier networks, and we count what is active rather than what is registered.

  • Local partners

Most of these markets carry a local ownership floor. We find the partner, check them, and structure a relationship that survives the first disagreement.

  • Compliance & AML

Responsible gambling, player verification, source-of-funds and reporting built to the market you are in, not retrofitted from a European template.

  • Launch & growth

Pricing, bonus economics, trading and acquisition. We stay in market through launch, then hand it to your people.

Buying or selling an operator?

Consulting is one half of the firm. The other is our deal desk, which brokers the sale of licensed betting businesses across the same markets — using the same field teams to check them before they reach a buyer.
