RIACT (“we”, “us”) provides go-to-market research and advisory across African markets. This page explains what personal information we collect through riact.africa, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
- Newsletter sign-ups. Your email address, submitted voluntarily to receive The Trenches.
- Readiness Check responses. The answers you select and, where you choose to share them, your name, company and email.
- Direct enquiries. Anything you send us by email or through a booking link.
- Basic usage data. Aggregate, non-identifying information about how pages are used, to improve the site.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to you, send the newsletter you signed up for, prepare for a call, and improve the site. We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to anyone else for their marketing.
Retention and security
We keep enquiry and Readiness Check records only as long as needed for the commercial conversation they relate to, and newsletter details until you unsubscribe. Information is held with reputable service providers under appropriate safeguards.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom. You can also ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will act on reasonable requests promptly.
